I am using txt2tags, but do not know Python or UNIX. Is there a way to use
%(HEADER1)s in the body area of a .t2t input file to incorporate the Line 1
header information in the final output?

Thanks.

Hello Jim,

yes, it's possible.

Get latest development version of txt2tags, there:
http://txt2tags.googlecode.com/svn/trunk/txt2tags

Then you can use %%header1 as a macro for getting this information in your final document.

For example:

here is a document called %%header1, made by %%header2
